this is a super-interesting history book because it illustrates history written before its time can go very wrong. this book warns us to be suspicious of our history. taken for truth, like this one, could be a curse on humanity.i strongly recommend everyone to read this and compared to what really transpired after the author's prophecy in 1905, especially for the asians. china is being "awakened" today. would history repeat itself, replacing china in the role of japan during wwii? u know what they said -- shame on them the 1st time; shame on u, the 2nd time.japan's actual awakening was by the blasts of the 2 abombs. but i hope the final awakening is to go back to the path of cultural unification with china and korea to form a new ASIA FAMILY that would become the beacon of hope for the world.
