JUST AS GOOD AS THE OLD PASSAGES. SENT TO A FRIENDS WHO NEEDS IT. I READ THE ORIGINAL ONCE UPON A TIME AND IT WAS A GREAT HELP TO ME IN GETTING MY LIFE TOGETHER.

This update of Sheehy's ealier work is timely and well done. She reflects the fact that roles assigned to women and men are becoming more fluid, and that our improved health and vitality has made it possible to have meaningful and productive lives throughout our entire lives, that life is not over at 60.

Great book by Gail Sheehy, expands on earlier writings in her previous Passages book about the cycles one experiences in adult life. This book definitely offers plenty of nuggets to consider and proves an invaluable guide for living one’s life to its fullest. Would love to read an updated version for the new century. Still, a must read book.

Surprisingly relevant even though published in 1995.

    Worth buying.

Great insights! Loved the first Passages and this author is still "right on". Smart lady.

  • By Sagging Maggie on August 6, 2016

Rehashing of the same info from other books. Disappointed.

A good book, particularly if readers enjoyed the first Passages publication and have some knowledge of Sheehy's career.
